Minister Jason Kenney will travel to Kyiv, Ukraine,
from November 20 to November 23, to participate in
an international forum and attend ceremonies to
commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Holodomor,
the 1932-33 famine-genocide in Ukraine. The Minister
will also meet with officials of the Ukrainian
government and visit Bykivnia Memorial and Babyn Yar
Holocaust sites.
Canada become the first nation to recognize Holodomor as Genocide
Anything related to Ukrainians living in Canada and Ukraine. Special dedication to 10 million innocent vicims of Ukrainian Holodomor 1932-33 "Ukraine Remembers, the World Recognizes."
