A number of years ago a journalist friend of mine was working with Vakhtan Kipiani on his program called Podviyniy Dokaz or Double Proof where they did a program on the Solovetsky Monastery. Upon her return from spending time up there shooting she returned and I gathered some friends and she showed us her pictures from that trip. It was pretty pretty haunting as we went thorough over a hundred photographs, many of them black and white, and she recalled what she had seen and who she had met.
