(It is, incidentally, identical to the prejudice in capitalist and imperialist, etc. circles.)<br /><br />Back in the 1980s I read a book about this hegemony by Ukrainian dssident Ivan Dziuba. The title is, interestingly enough, <i><a href="http://www.encyclopediaofukraine.com/pages/D/Z/DziubaIvan.htm" rel="nofollow">Internationalism or Russification?</a></i> <br /><br />Unfortunately, not much has changed since when Dziuba wrote it.<br /><br />And lest anyone wax nostalgic for those good ole days, there was hardly freedom of the press under communism. Like so many other revolutionary exposés, this book was circulated via the underground "press."
